Andrew Hall
BCom, CA(SA), CFA
Andrew’s route into private equity ran through KPMG, where he qualified, and three years of investment banking in London with UBS and Credit Suisse. Back in South Africa in 2001, he joined a listed private equity fund managed by a mid-market house as senior portfolio manager, working across the full investment lifecycle. A founding executive of Trinitas with more than 25 years in the industry, he has led the deployment and successful realisation of numerous portfolio assets and served on many company boards.
John Stipinovich
BBusSci, CA(SA)
A founding executive of Trinitas, John serves on the investment committees of the Trinitas Continuation Fund, Mpande Property Fund and Trinitas Property Partners, and as a non-executive director on numerous portfolio company boards. He qualified at Deloitte, spent three years in project finance advisory for the African market at a major South African bank, and was then joint head of private equity at a niche merchant bank, responsible for two generalist funds totalling R800 million — a career in private equity now spanning almost 30 years.
Soteris Theorides
BCom, CA(SA), CPA
One of the three founders of Trinitas, Soteris has spent close on 30 years in private equity. His early career took him from Deloitte, where he qualified, to two years in the firm’s Financial Services division in Boston. On returning to South Africa, he became joint head of private equity at a niche merchant bank, responsible for the strategic and operational management of two private equity funds. He serves on the Trinitas Investment Committees and holds non-executive directorships across numerous portfolio company boards.
Yousuf Sujee
BCom, CA(SA)
A Principal at Trinitas with more than 20 years of private equity experience, Yousuf completed his articles at Ernst & Young in 2006 before joining Standard Bank’s Private Equity division, where he worked on transactions across FMCG, logistics and retail. Since joining Trinitas in 2012 he has driven deal evaluation, company and legal due diligence and investment analysis, and sits on the boards of various investee companies.

Gayle Burbaitzky
BCom, CA(SA)
Gayle is the Financial Manager at Trinitas and has more than 25 years of private equity experience. Gayle’s involvement with Trinitas started in 2009 working for one of the Trinitas investors, before she joined the Trinitas team in 2012. Gayle’s private equity experience spans finances, taxes, accounting, secretarial and compliance.
Samantha Britz
Samantha joined Trinitas in 2010 as Office Manager and Executive Personal Assistant. She plays a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient day to day operations of the office while providing executive support to the team. Her responsibilities include coordinating office functions, managing executive calendars, handling correspondence, arranging travel and overseeing all administrative requirements. Before joining Trinitas, Samantha worked for 10 years in the legal sector, where she provided support to senior executives.
