Southdale is a 34,000 m² GLA community shopping centre 4 km south of the Johannesburg CBD, with a 60-unit affordable-residential offering and a small office component. Tenants include long-standing national retailers and banks — Pick n Pay, Shoprite, Boxer, the major banks, African Bank, Capitec, Ackermans, Mr Price, Pep, Truworths, Clicks, Jet and KFC. Acquired in 2012 as a dated, under-invested 40-year-old centre, it was refurbished across its parking, entrances, mall areas and tenant mix, and sold to Enyuka Prop Holdings in June 2025 in an asset-for-share swap.
